Hawksford UAE (Dubai Unit) seeks a dynamic Business Development Manager to establish and grow our market presence in the UAE and globally.

Summary:
You will be responsible for building and managing client referral partnerships, generating new business, converting leads, and supporting marketing strategies. The role also involves organizing events, developing new service lines, achieving sales targets, and assisting multinational clients with business setup in the UAE.Principal Accountabilities:
- Build a market position for Hawksford UAE (also called Dubai Unit) in the UAE and globally by locating, developing, defining, and closing relationships and partnerships with multipliers which originate client referrals.
- Active participation in new business generation ensuring the growth of the business from both existing and potential clients.
- Identifying new business opportunities by targeting prospective introducers of business.
- Converting leads into clients by managing the pitching process which unfolds from the initial enquiry and request for information, to the quotation stage and on boarding.
- Support the marketing and content team in developing strategies and webpages to ensure maximum visibility of our team and the UAE market.
- Identifying and organising events, workshops, and publications to sustain and promote market knowledge internationally.
- Developing and promoting profitable new service lines and associated standards.
- Developing and delivering the BD strategic plans for the Dubai Unit, securing and deploying the resources necessary to meet the current and future needs of the Company.
- Achieve sales targets
- Due to the location of potential clients, you must be willing to travel if the need arises.
- Ensuring profitable delivery of work through effective cross business/department/team relationships and processes.
- Maintaining/increasing the profitability of the existing client base and creating opportunities for new business.
- Liaising with potential international Clients to close new engagements including i) answering their queries ii) having phone call and meetings with them iii) discussing their business plans iv) assessing potential challenges and solutions for their engagement
- Assisting our multi-national Clients with business set up in the UAE including i) company registration and ii) corporate bank account opening and iii) accounting and tax and iv) employee recruitment v) regulatory licensing. In summary, the A to Z of business set up.
- Developing our Firm’s ability to close Client sales closed each month.
The type of person we are looking for:
- Has an excellent command of English, with both written and oral communication skills.
- Because these languages are in short supply in our Dubai office, candidates fluent in at least one additional language, including i) German ii) French iii) Japanese iv) Italian v) Russian vi) Chinese or vi) Arabic will be favourably viewed.
- Has a degree from an established university, preferably in i) accounting ii) business iii) economics or iv) law.
- Has at least five years’ relevant professional experience, spanning at least three years with each historical employer.
- Is able to supply multiple positive professional references from previous and current employers.
- Is extrovert and enjoys speaking with people and project managing multinational Client engagements.
- Is a confident, independent thinker that requires little supervision and can learn fast and become an in-house expert for multiple countries.
- Is a professional with a strong understanding of the corporate environment and versed with Global and UAE news. And ii) successfully leading communication with various departments and branches of Hawksford Group.Is disciplined with high professional standards.
- Works well in a fast-paced, dynamic, multi-cultural team.
