Senior Accountant,

This role oversees month-end closing processes to ensure compliance with corporate and P.R.C. accounting regulations, while also providing guidance to junior accountants and optimizing team performance.

Summary:

The role involves actively participating in the month-end closing process to ensure compliance with corporate standards and P.R.C. laws, regulations, and taxation rules. Responsibilities include reviewing monthly and yearly financial data, reconciling accounts, conducting business analyses as required, providing training and guidance to junior accountants, and managing the team to enhance effectiveness and overall quality.


Principal accountabilities:

  • Provide FIEs with various accounting-related services including but not limited to:
  • Actively participate in the month-end closing process, ensuring compliance with corporate and ensure compliance with the applicable P.R.C. laws, regulations, rules of accounting and taxation.
  • Review monthly and yearly financial data including reconciles accounts and prepare other business analysis as required.
  • Training and guidance of junior accountants in daily work.
  • Manage teammates to be more effective and improve overall quality.

The type of person we are looking for:

  • Bachelor/above degree, major in accounting or taxation.
  • Sound knowledge of international and local accounting practices, and experience in IFRS or IAS is a plus.
  • Familiar with accounting system (e.g. Kingdee, U8, SAP, Oracle).
  • Advanced excel skill set.
  • Good communication skill in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Good customer service attitude.
  • More than 5 years full-time related working experience or an accounting outsourcing team in an accounting/consulting firm or similar role experiences will be a plus.
