To ensure that our Company’s policies and procedures are legally compliant, effective and efficient to align to the Company’s culture. You will review, develop and implement internal operational policies and procedures, across our Private Client, Corporate and Funds services. With an understanding of regulatory requirements, risk management and best practices applicable to all our client services, ensuring that all policies and procedures align with both legal obligations and the Company’s strategic objectives.

Five years’ Jersey residency required for this role, as required by Control of Housing and Work (Jersey) Law 2012.

 

Summary:

You will:

  • Design, draft and implement comprehensive policies and procedures tailored to our client services sectors.
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks and best practices.
  • Review and update policies to reflect changes in legislation and business strategy.
  • Develop user friendly documentation and guidance to support policy adherence across the Company.
  • Be a subject expert specialist on policy development.
  • Provide analysis and current jurisdictional market research.
  • Consult and guide internal stakeholders including senior management to identify and develop areas for improvement.

Principal accountabilities:

Research & Analysis

  • Research and analyse policies. You must have, strong proven analytical and research skills to help ensure you convey the right information to stakeholders and senior leaders.

Presentation

  • Provide useful information and data to inform senior leaders to make the right decisions in terms of policy making and implementation.
  • Present evidence clearly and concisely.

Regulatory & Risk Management

  • Ensure all practices are fully compliant with applicable laws, regulatory requirements and professional standards.
  • Identify barriers to service and be an ambassador for change.
  • Work closely with compliance, legal and risk teams to identify potential gaps or risks and proactively implement solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance on policy interpretation and application.

Process Optimisation and Governance

  • Assess existing workflows and operational practices, recommending enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy and compliance.
  • Establish robust governance frameworks for policy monitoring, escalation and enforcement.
  • Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and reporting metrics to track policy adherence and operational effectiveness.
  • Implement policy changes in accordance with the company’s procedures manual in order to meet the strategic objectives of the business.

Training & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Deliver targeted training and workshops to ensure that employees understand and apply policies correctly.
  • Act as a key liaison between all stakeholders to drive a culture of continuous improvement and compliance.
  • Deliver policy changes required to meet the strategic objectives of the business.
  • Provide support to business on policy and procedure-based matters.
